It's 's turn.
Goal: score the most points by growing (fruiting) mushrooms, collecting insects, and being the one to trigger the end of the game.
Your turn: take two different actions:
Blocking: a rival Mother standing on your mushroom stops it from sporing or decaying.
Insects are free actions on your turn: 1 insect refreshes the market; 2 insects move any opponent's Mother to any tile without a Mother. Leftover insects score 1 point per 2 at the end.
Game end: the moment a player has at least one decayed card under all five mats, the game ends immediately and that player claims the 5-point end token. Highest total wins (ties: most mushrooms grown, then most insects).
Digital adaptations: wind symbols are fixed per edge and printed on every tile (◯ = horizontal edge, ∪ = left, ∧ = right — the rolled edge lights up while you spore); spore spending for fruiting is chosen automatically (preferring rival spores); the solo Automata follows the rulebook's FRUIT > DECAY > SPORE > MOVE priority in a streamlined form.
